Anyone want to AutoX this weekend?
CDC event @ C.D. Hylton Senior High School, Woodbridge, VA this Saturday (July 10). Anyone interested in going?

haha, I might bring it out sooner than that. We'll see how the small bore championship goes. I might use one of my drop days to bring the FC out. Currently I'm having issues trying to keep up with the miatas... I need to upgrade my driving skils I think haha.
The FC is currently in the beginnings of a rear subframe/diff/rear suspension overhaul so it's not going anywhere for at least a few weeks

or if its not that bad just run r-comps anyway... I've had pretty good luck with that in the past, you only need one good semi-dry run
you should bring the AWD car to the rally-x on sunday!

I feel like such an old bitch. I'm probably gonna bail on tomorrow on account of weather.
Re: Sunday - My rally tires are all dry rotted and I don't do enough events anymore to justify buying a new set. My super squooshy sidewall 195/60/15 street tires are just going to get me intro trouble. I'm such an old man now, used to be 90 degrees + choking dust = awesome rallyx. Now days I'd rather sleep in :P

I'm running a stupid GM MAF Translator (hotwire) setup in blow-through. If any amount of water gets into the intake (as it did driving down on the highway in heavy rain), it gets all messed up. Only 2nd time this has happened, but when it does I can't rev the car over 3k or it just bucks and kicks and won't accelerate at all. I was pretty pissed off at it -- should have just slept in
Gonna yank this crap out and go with a speed density setup I think.

the corolla doesn't really slalom well...but I ran my SA Impreza in PA at the rallycross and still came in first, so Sunday was much better

Congrats on the first place at the RallyX!
haha, well I ran my all-seasons in the morning and then switched to my A6s in the afternoon because it dried up quite a bit... but yeah, they were definitely on their way out, the corolla needs a lot more camber...
Speaking of autocross? Who's up for this Saturday the 31st at Hylton?
I'm not sure if I'm gonna go yet or not, but it's right by my house and I'm happy to do some ***-whoopin. That's if I'm not too rusty considering I haven't been out to an autocross since last season.....
