So AFAIK, Rotorfest is still good for August 19th at ATCO Raceway. Since I'm assuming quite a few rotors will be coming from the north, I'm trying to see if we can get some sort of caravan together like old times and travel down as a group. Any interest?

We need a spot to meet and a route to take..

 

The route I'll be taking is 87 to 95 to 73. How does that compare to your locations? We can meet at a certain exit if that works.

nj turnpike is a straight shot then cut across.

 

FROM NORTH JERSEY & NEW YORK

Take the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 7, Route 206. Take 206 South 15 miles to the Red Lion Circle, after the circle turn right at 2nd traffic light, Medford Lakes Road. Go to the 2nd street and turn left on Oak Shade Road/ Route 534. Go 6 miles to the track.

 

Ok we got a way there but neeed a stop to meet any where on the way works like a gas staion or store

Molly Pitcher Service area is a service area on the southbound New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8a and 8.

now everbody just needs to agree on a time to meet!

 

Or you can go back and forth on a time for the next month, lol

 

That's WAY too far for me to start the caravan. We could definitely meet there as a secondary stop, but there are a lot of guys far north of that that I'd like to meet up with prior. I'm thinking Newburgh->Newark->Cranbury Township->Atco

 

yeah that would def be a second meet spot for the northern people, and a main meet spot for central nj people.

 

So who definitely wants to meet up and where is reasonable for you?

 

the rest stop between 8 and 8a is where ill be, with any other rotarys. from central area. your caravan from nyc can meet our caravan their. just need to come up with a time for us to meet at that spot.

ok guys if you are in the Newark, Elizabeth ,linden, rahway, Carteret, woodbridge, Edison, new brunswick and any local towns close to route 1. The meet spot will be at lowes new brunswick cinemas on rt1 south. It is just over the bridge on the right. The time will be for 9:30 am! We will depart at 10:00 am to the nj turnpike rest stop between exits 8 and 8a. to meet with the new york and northern area caravans. I feel this is a good and fair time for us to all meet up. And gives a good time for northern and new york caravans to meet with us. If everyone is good with this time start spreading the word!

New york areas if you feel this gives you enough time to meet with the central nj area on the nj turnpike then pass the word! If this time is to early then we will move the meet time to 10:00am at the lowes movie theater. This is posting in both threads in rx7 and rx8 forums! Any questions please feel free to pm me.
