I rented a "Auto Transport" from uhal and even without paying it was like 50 dollars for the day (I only had it for 4 hours, but Im pretty sure I could have had it longer for the same price)

I rented a U-haul car trailer and it was such a hunk of ****. I tried taking it back because I couldn't get my car up on it due to a broken winch. The jerk-offs wouldn't refund my money- they said how do we know you didn't already move your car? I said here is the f'n tow truck receipt! :****:

Oh well thanks guys. Anyone selling a trailer?

I finally found a place here in VA that rents enclosed trailers from $24 a day up to $36 a day, depending on the size. That's an INCREDIBLE deal.

I spoke w/ the guy, and he told me I *could* tow my FD and the trailer w/ a F-150, although it's a bit on the small side...it would just take LOTS of gas (kinda like my FD lol). It needs a Class 2 hitch is it? (5K lbs). If only I had a Hummer....LOL

JLR Trailer Rentals
Ellis Warehouse and Mini Storage
11524 ***** Ford Road
Mannassas VA 20109
Hours: 9 - 5
Phone: 703-330-5800

For me, an 8X16 enclosed trailer was $36 + tax...that's it =)

Directions...I'm assuming you're coming from 495...take it south/west towards Tysons Corner. Take 66 West toward Mannassas/Front Royal. On 66, take exit 47A (234 business), make a right at the traffic light, and it's up ahead about a mile and a half on the right.

OR (simply because 66 traffic can be HORRIBLE at times) you can take this way (you get off 66 at an earlier exit).

From 66, take Exit 44 (234 Prince William Parkway). At the trafflic light, make a left. It's about one mile down on the left.

Class 3 is 5k. A Montero can accomodate a Class 3 hitch, so I don't see why a F-150 couldn't do it.

Class 3 is also what's required for a 4-wheel UHaul auto trailer. I think the two-wheel might work with a Class 2.
