Are there any RX7 owners out there who want to have a meet and watch the movie "Saved?" Now that's worth meeting for.

oh, and how worthless do you really have to feel to take no credit for anything good that happens in your life. Personally, when my 7 doesn't start, I pop the hood, do some tinkering, and it fires right up, I like to think that my intelligent rationality (i.e. isolating the problem to fuel/spark and trouble shooting from there) fixed the problem and not some divine power.

I really don't mean to start a war or anything, but I personally take exception to some fanatic jumping on here and shouting "PRAISE THE ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST FOR EVERYTHING" because it cheapens everything that I work hard at. Nothing impresses people like this because nothing achieved is a product of an individual's effort, simply the will of god. Bull ****. Everything that I have accomplished in my life is not the product of divine intervention. It is a product of my hard work and the support of my family and friends.

well usma do you really think you have power to do things on your own, i mean if you were in a wheel chair could you walk? NO! so its not on your own power, you didnt just happend to show up, GOD made you, you were allready in the plans, so when your 7 does break down true you are doing it but if it wasnt for GOD you would not be able, or beter yet tell me then when somthing traggic happends who do you call on GOD, and as for me this was not for those that dont get down with GOD it was for the those again, SAVED CHRISTAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS, if you have the movie saved mabe you should make a DVD of it and keep it with you, and please not the there is no GOD, if there wasnt, were did all this come from oooo GOD and if your thinknig the big bang, well tell me if everything came from a spec of dust then were did the dust come from.

It states in your black book that Eve was created from Adam, correct? So while Adam was procreating with Eve, he was mating with himself.

I also like how Carlos Mencia mentioned on his show that if Adam and Eve had children.....sooner or later, one of the males had to "bone their sister".

Dude, how old are you? I almost decided not to even read your entire post because I was having so much difficulty trying to figure out what you were writing. If you are older than 12 years old, you should be ashamed of yourself. If you are under 12 years old, then you have a lot of growing up to do before you start lecturing people with far more experience than you on the ways of the world.

Bottom line: religion is a crutch for the weak, confused, and ignorant. From the very moment man evolved into rational creatures capable of communication amongst those of the same species, he has tried to explain phenomenae by claiming the existence of a higher power, whose anger, joy, (plug any emotion in here) has been aroused. If you look back through history, the earliest tribes around the world were all theocratic. The leader of the tribe appeared to the people to have some sort of influence with these higher powers, i.e. they learned how to light a fire, etc. This made the early leaders powerful since they could not only perform 'god-like' feats, but could also "interpret" other signs that "god" was giving them. If he wanted a nice place to live, he'd say that the recent lightning strike that burnt half of the cattles' grazing fields was caused by the god's anger that there wasn't a decent shelter for the leader. As scientific research uncovers the reasons behind mysteries, fewer and fewer people will need to lean on the easy way out and say that it was god's work. The hard workers are the one's who wonder why and go to work to find out. Why do you think that the percentage of non-religious people has grown so dramatically in the past 100 years compared to religious people. At this rate, religion will finally be reasoned out within another 100.

Now, read what I wrote (two or three times if you have to; you don't seem to know how to write a coherent sentence, so I wouldn't expect you to understand how to read one immediately, and then if you feel it is necessary, you may attempt to build a case again. However, I highly doubt that you will be able to respond in any way without contradicting any part of the extremely reasonable argument I've already laid down. I'm sorry if this hurts your feelings and strips away everything that you've ever lived for; you can always start a cult and drink some kool-aid if it's that bad... that's what all the other fanatics seem to do after their faith is debunked.
