So last night i was feeling a bit bored at home and decided to go for a ride. Called anthony (AnthonyNYC) to see what he was up to. He said he was at his boys house in Jamaica with his truck and his FD on his trailer. SO i stop by for a few minute and athony says "hey come with me i want to go and test my car, shes not staying straight". I said Hell yeah hehe.

So i drop off my RX7 at his house and we go to this spot in Long Island ( i had no idea where i was) someplaced called Ocean Parkway, beautiful 2 or 3 lane roads nestled bewteen beaches, oh how romantic anthony.

So we drive around looking for a parking lot to leave the trailer and truck while he tests out his FD and finally find one that has no partol officers at around 330am. We unload all his tools, flashlights, C16 race fuel and my helmet. We check the tire pressure make sure everything looks good. We roll the car off the trailer i jump in and its so nice and quiet. Anthonys like man we are going to wake everyone the **** up (since they're are people sleeping in boats and a few parked cars in this parking lot.

Now im sitting in anthonys car with NO SEATBELTS, ant did give me a helmet (which i do appreciate it) and ant straps into his FD with no helmet and starts teh car.

We take off and get on the road where ant lets the beast loose and im pinned in my seat, so hard i bang my head on his roll bar, but thanks to him i have a helmet (kinda felt like the RINGER). So we were testing to see if his car would stay straight since hes going to be running today at Pan American in ATCO (which i didnt attend =( )

Athony was running at 30psi the entire time and the car remained relatively straight, very little wheel spin and they were biting down hard. SO we did many many pulls like this from a roll and stopped once to see how it would do after a launch. Pleasingly it was straight. I was complimenting ant on his car since its so fast (my first 600HP car i ever sit in) and he says "Wanna see boost?" I say hell yeah.

He pumps it up to 35psi and takes off from a roll, holy ******* god car whips from the left lane to the middle lane leaving beautiful tire marks, then he goes up to another gear car does the same thing, car was uncontrollable if i were to drive it, but ant held it down. We almost ate the dust about two times but i give it to him he got taht baby under control quick. So he was pleased with his car and so was I.

Just wanted to share my story with you guys, anthony was working on his car for 2 days straight and was testing with me until 5am, he went home to get the truck ready and was on his way to Pan ams with NO SLEEP, this guy is nuts.

Sorry i didnt wake up anthony my phone died, and i wasnt too happy about getting my first speed ticket on the southern state by exit 16 by a NY state troooper. He was an ***, everyone is doing 75mph and he decides to pull me over cuz i got the nice sexy red sports car. Oh well, i had a fun night with ya in LI and that took care of my anger about the ticket

Next time ill bring the sticky pod dash mount and my camera to record this crazyness! ALso bring me some seatbelts next time i think we hit about 170mph, i couldnt tell since you didint have a working speedo, but i been in cars doing 160mph and i am pretty sure we did 170mph maybe even a lil more

Ahh great night! Who can say they been in a 600hp besides those that own one?

Shyt he got there late with his FD..... he would of gotten there like 5 minutes lol.... That really sucks..... There is next time.

 

YEAH I CAlled him up he said all racing tickets were sold at 1030am so he got there a few minutes to late and couldnt race =(

What sucks even more is that I trailered the damn car all the way there! I asked my friend to buy my a ticket since I was running late (we always do that) and Atco refused to sell him the ticket unless the car was there. I took us over 45min to get a park and I ended up parking to the left of the staging lanes since everything else was taken.

Plus, There were people there not even racing and paid for a racing ticket just to park in the pits... Oh well, there are other events this year you can participate in...

Man I feel bad for you Ant... But hey next time maybe i'll be there with my FD and we could see what over car could do.....Ohhh I think this is bad news small amount of black smoke from my exhaust anyone please comment.......I should have atleast 78,xxx miles on it....I know its around the corner for a rebuild.. But will it last till the end of summer..... I dont push my car over 4 RPM....

 

yeah i was at pan am's bent off ma *** and slept through half the races but i was still there =)) . saw ants car on the trailer and wonderd why he wasent runin i thought maybe he broke sumthin but now i know why . but theres lots more events this yr so no worries ull get to set some new times soon ant
