I could bring a beat up 1985 Camry, if I can find enough duct tape to patch the hole in the intake between the TB and MAF sensor.

Alternative transportation

One thing I like about this group is the variety of vehicles - we don't all have to have an RX to meet and hang out. My neighbor's got a ride-on lawnmower, he uses Mobil 1 in it (less friction and therefore a little more torque and hp) and it's really quick (for a ride-n lawnmower) - I may come in that.

HAHA awesome Doug the Elder! I got a 1993 touring, black w/ tan interior, the old owners kinda dogged it to hell, but its better for it to go to a person who is going to take care of it I guess! It's my little baby!

Doug the what?

Hey Doug,

If there's one color combo I like best in an FD it's the black with tan - sounds nice.
I looked at a new one like that in spring '92, but I wasn't quite ready to buy. When I was ready I looked for a low mileage demo and the only one I found was red. I can't believe I've had this car 11 years. As they used to say in old Rome, tempus fugit.

More alternative transportation

Don't feel too bad, Brian. I don't think I can get my neighbor's lawn mower to ride, so I may just grease the bottom of my shoes and like SKID on over. What's the expression the kids used to use? SLIDE ON DOWN! It'll be like a convertible - no way I am driving in a coupe in warm weather with the A/C broken. Uncle Doug GOT TO KEEP COOL when he comes over there!

What? _I_ love the 'rolla. Cant knock 44mpg!

It is an insanely slow car.

I raced a Dodge intrepid and missed the launch cuz my phone rang (how lame is that?)
So I picked it up and talked to my girl on the phone as I held one carlenth behind the Intrepid up till 3rd gear (whitch I do not have). He got in front and the lanes merged to one. Mind you, my rolla has the mighty 4A-F engine, with a whopping 70 something HP, vs an Intrepid, witch has somewhere around 200. For the next twisy mile, I held even with him the whole way untill I had to turn left. Oh well

see...this is why you need something very 2zz-like...you'd give the intrepid a run for his money
