If you ever see a red Lancer (not evo) in the glen burnie area w/ a sparco erector set wing, 16" wheels with black centers, and a rice cannon- try to talk to the driver.

With any luck he'll tell you how fast your car is and that he has a 10 second monte carlo at home. He might tell you that he'll prove it to you. He might tell you to hold his phone while he goes and gets it. Laugh.

him- "I've got a car at home that's faster than that!"
me- "Oh yeah?"
him- "yeah, a ten second monte carlo with (laundry list of go fast parts)"
me- "Good for you"
him- "so what's that thing run 13's?"
me- "maybe."
him- "my monte carlo would smoke that thing"
me- "too bad it's not here, i'd like to see it"
him- "you're scared aren't you"

him- "we can go over there behind that building"

him- chatters on some more, mostly drowned out by my window going up.

He also called my 7 a 6, and assumed that i had spent the last two stoplights laughing at his car. He was very angry. But he was right, i was having a chuckle at his cars expense- i guess he gets that a lot.

But if anyones seen this mythical 10 second firebreathing monte carlo who's owner likes to put erector set wings & fart cans on innocent family cars please let me know.

That's a shame, I was hoping to talk to him again about the pros & cons of tubbing your car, What size injectors he has, or how big his carbs are. I have a whole list if questions for him- 18, DD & 10 second car. Pure genius if you ask me.

i drove by there one night and was AMAZED. ive never seen so much rice on the streets at one time. it was nuts. there actually is some damn nice cars in the crowd if you look hard enough. cant say how their owners are though.

^ ive seen 1wide7 there in his red widebody fd. sooooo many srt-4's hang out there. if you even drive by that place they will track you down and try to run you at every light. right there on ritchie its ridiculous.

 

Yea there are alot of SRT-4(Neons) everywhere and yes they all try racing you.
