OK.. first of all yes this is my first time posting....but ive lurked around here for about a year now.. so go easy on me..

anyways.. an intro.. im lou..from atlantic city nj . been a rotor head for a few yrs thanks to my uncle .. ive owned a 86 "ghetto rigged" 7 that i bought from a friend that didnt really know anything about it and just recently had to lay her to rest (note: hitting deers ...HURTS )

i just recently purchaced not one BUT TWO 87 rx-7s both n/a one auto one 5spd (auto is red 5spd is bule ) for 1500$ from a local mechanic in need of $$ both motor run great red rebuilt 60k ago and blue 40k,,i was also told blue was street ported

both run ,red(auto) is all stock and in decent shape..needed a fenter so i took one off blue(5spd) since blue needs an entire interior and a new windsheid ( thing is beat to hell)

anyways ..my point.. im hell bent on swapping my motor/tranny from blue to red..and then sending my red motor down to my buddy in pr(clubman racing arecibo puerto rico) for a rebuild

ive red numerous posts on about the difficulties of the swap..from pedals to wiring and the difference in tranny mount locations .. etc

this will be my 1st actual rotary swap.. im checking to see if any of you experienced guys would like to maybe do a meet in my area and help me out ??

i have the ENTIRE doner car intact..only things i need are a clutch/flywheel and maybe a clutch fork or master cylinder since the clutch wont enguage on the tranny (havent really checked what it is ...doesnt dring may just need fluid...duhh
i also have access to all sorts of tools, welders etc.. SO THATS NOT AN ISSUE

anyways i love car meets and would love to host one.. maybe a bbq some beers some wrenching...good times maybe hit up some casinos and the beach? make a weekend out of it?
