that was a very cool track layout.
same FD turnout as last time. 4 of us which is pretty damn respectable.
i think my best time was 48.1 and i think it was clean. but my tires are shot and i spun out on 4 of my 8 runs. it was like racing on ice. 2 year old kumhos blow
i think sandro (red fd on v710s) also got a 48.1.
mike - how'd you do? and your brother? did you see the other class 'u' cars? what was their best times?

my friends z06 was awesome. he gave me a ride in it. he just got brand new hoosiers. as soon as i got in and felt the g forces, i knew he would beat me. no way around all that stupid grip. he also let me take a pass in it which was nice. cool car. his best was like mid 47's so i was almost there. i know with new v710's i would beat him. i actually think with new tires i could set fastest time of the day. i'm gonna put power steering on over the winter and get more radical alignment too. can't wait for nex season

oh and i almost couldn't compete. on my very first run and plastic clip that holds the throttle cable broke!!!! i had to limp it off the course. my friends had tools and stuff, so i took a handfull of zip ties and some duct tape, and a little ingenuity, and i was back in the race. and more importantly, i was able to drive home after the event. it would have sucked to get a tow home for a friggin $1 plastic clip.
