i just picked up an 04 ltz400 sport quad. man that thing is fast as hell. there claiming 50 horsepower an it shows. i was wondering if anyone else on the forum is into 4 wheelers? im looking for some people to ride with and some places to ride.

 

My little brother has a go kart. Its pretty cool. Hes putting a 12hp motor with NOS and mabye a turbo if we can figure it out.

 

Where can I find a one seater go-kart teh racing kart but the old skool go-karts, can't seem to find any...only see the 2 seater or the 2 seater off roaders....I liek 4 wheeler btw...I just can't afford them :-\

yeha, fourwheelers get old after a while, i drove my frieds raptor a lot, but we run from the cops so much that its not worth riding any more, it would be every time we would ride out to get to teh woods, cops would be all over the place. so eventually we got caught, let off the hook but got the idea. so dont ride as much any more, but yeeah they are fast, scares you crapless first time u are on with smoeone who is gunning it, scares u even more when there are cops chasing you

I have a 88 tecate with a fmf pipe, v-force reeds, milled deck and head (ups the compression)wiseco prolite piston and alot of other add ons! tons of places to ride, two of my friends have tracks and there are a ton of trails!

 

my boy from school has a quad with 285 hp

he put a 1050cc snowmobile motor in it with a nitrous set up
he has hopes to win the NYS fastest quad contest, or something

it does 0-80 in around 4.5 seconds

 

thats crazy. i had my friend drive next to me in his truck and i can ride 55 mph wheelies.

 

I got a Z400 with full yosh exhaust, intake and jet kit. we ride all ofer jersey.. I am in the process of finishing a 250R that I built from scratch. The Z has about 34hp not 50hp.. you can get about 50hp without boring/stroking. My 250R is putting down about 65-70hp and it weighs 310lbs about 60lbs less than my Z. i got a raptor with some lite mods. i smoke everything with it including my buddies banshee. problem is, like someone else pointed out, it gets old quickly.

 

Yo dude I know some people with a farm right up past Gue rd in damascus. Maybe we can go riding sometime. Their fastest 4wheeler is only 400cc (not too fast) and the other two are 330cc I think... something like that. They have trails through woods and mud pits and even a jump. It's awesome... Do you have a pickup or a trailer or anything?

 

same user name as over here.. hey matty I would think my 250R tops out around 90mph can beat your raptor. All mt friends on long island have raptors and none of them can beat me on my Z.. What mods u have?

 

not much. pipe, jetkit, handle bars, sprokett.

banshees are suppose to accellerate faster than raptors but i walk him. he has same mods as me. Banshees are suppose to be faster then 250r;s. Are u modded?

660 is a big motor and power hits any where in rpm range. its a real beast and could toss a amatuer rider in seconds.
