$3000 is good if you do it your self.

engine, trans, and rear end?
with supplying everything?

I don't know about $3000, unless you happen to find someone who maybe already has the parts or a donor car for cheap?

For 3000 labor and all Call Chuch at Function 7 he's got something going that make me change my mind about doing a turbo II swap. Check the thread on the Function 7 BBQ. If you make it there do it.

engine + transmission-$1500
drive shaft-$100
ecu +wire harness-$300
differential-$300
TII hood-$200
that alone is -$2400 and thats not including the small stuff.
labor would be something like $80 an hour + 8 hours or more
To be more realistic (unless you get these parts for dirt cheap) i would save up about $4000 or go the smarter rout and sell the N/A and buy a TII.
its just my opinion.

function 7 is located in long island NY contact chuch 1-516-523-4833

rear end is the differential. you can use the N/A differential but it is not strong if you are going to be aggressive with the car. you have two choices. you can go with the S5 turbo II lsd or the S4 clutch type lsd. if you are planing on drag racing the car i would suggest the S4 turbo Lsd if you want to track the car i would go with the S5.

the difference between the clutch type and the helical S5 type is that The clutch-type LSD responds to drive shaft torque. The S5 helical limited slip differential does not lock the two output shafts to spin at the same rate so it is better for road racing.

i have a clutch type lsd on my FD because my intent is to drag race it.

TPG Tuning Blairsville PA - 724 675 8235. Ask to speak with Super Duper Hairy Caveman (their rotary specialist) dont know how far that is from philly, but the guys there do great work and probably even have some parts you will need for a swap.

Too bad you don't live closer to me. I would help you source everything you need and install for around $3000, maybe a little more. I'm about an hour north of Pittsburgh pa.
