2014 Dulles Town Center / Chick-fil-a Meet Thread
What: A car meet for all makes/models
Where: Lowes/Chick-fil-A parking lot (Dulles Crossing Plaza, Sterling, VA)
When: Every Friday night, weather permitting
Since there have been a bunch of folks talking about meets, I'm kicking this off early this year. DST is in effect and it's supposed to be 55 at 7pm tonight so I'm thinking about doing a recon run.

If you are going to be there I might show up in the FD to say whats up. I'm not 100% at this point though, it depends on if I can get out of work on time. I should be able to give a better feel later today.

Yea I will swing by, probably on the earlier side (6ish) while its still warm. If you can make it LMK, even if the meet is a flop we can grab something to eat or whatever.

Wasn't much of a turn-out last night. There were cars coming in and leaving, but it never reached critical mass. Maybe in a few more weeks we'll get there.

There have been a few false starts with the cold and the rain so far this year but Friday's weather is looking like it might shape up to be pretty nice. Low 70's, 50% chance of showers ending by 4pm. If it's dry after work I'll probably head over.

I hope to bring the FD if I get it back together in time. I'm installing a new wideband o2 sensor today and running the thick cable through the firewall is a PITA :/ How about you, Ronald back on the street?

In general it was a pretty full lot. Three 7s and an 8 turned up. Scott G. also made an appearance but his 'vert is still getting its new motor. We'll need to do some advance planning and try and get a big turnout one of these days. Or maybe at one of the three cars+coffee events that happen in the area over the weekend instead? I was almost thinking of going to the one in Fairfax tomorrow morning just to get some cruising miles in to datalog a baseline with the new wideband.
