BTW, I just spoke with an individual from Subaru Corporate and they are planning on bringing their WRX and STi SEMA cars out to our car show.

i might be able to make it..final little mods to my 7 to get her going..sister goes to bridgewater and i got a couple buddies @ jmu i been up there 4-5 times this year..im 2 hours away know exactly where you are..no guarentees but ill try

If the weather is nice, I believe I'm going, along with several other Roanoke guys. Mostly Evo/Suby guys, but I'll try to keep them in line!

I should be down there. It was kinda iffy with the rain but things are looking good....

Last time my car got wet the fans stopped working On that note, I'm still trying to find a way to wash it.

Im good friends with Paul and the VW crew, but this trip I'll bring the 7.

 

The weather says it is supposed to rain (few showers) on Saturday....but it also said that for the past 3 days and it has been sunny and in the 60s here. Either way come out!!!!!!!! Who cares if it rains and your car gets some rain water on it....it's not going to melt.

This show is still on!! Everyone is still coming out (Subaru, redbull, music, detailing vendor, etc) no matter what the weather is

Sorry man, won't be able to make it out. Had to change some stuff up last minute so the car won't be ready. Looking forward to seeing the pics though.
And about driving in the rain.....my car is a DEATH TRAP in the rain.

I'm hoping you come! I love me some white fd! Looks like we may have a fairly similar setup as well. Don't turn your back from your car though, I've been on the lookout for some feed sides for mine.

OK so the 7 is so fresh & so clean now. Gave it a quick wash while the rain was on hold. I am on edge for comming tomorrow. The weather looks iffy overnight but I am hoping by 10ish the rain stops.

Like Vel mentioned, its not just rain on the paint of a garage queen.... not that I like it, but its bound to happen... its the fact of driving 400+ rwhp in the rain with a turbo that feels like a kick in the ***** when its dry.... not to mention a poor defrost, especially with no A/C. and in my instance.... trying to relocate all the relays to a hidden but non-waterproof spot. I lost my headlights 1st time I washed it... fixed and moved that relay. Lost my fans the 2nd time I washed it... haven't touched that relay, but im using the A/C electronics to turn on the fans.... DONT want to loose that.

I'm really trying to make it down, but im afraid its comming to a last minute decision tomorrow morning. VW or 7

 

Wish I could have made it down Ryan, we'll fire it up for Deal's Gap Rotary Rally......was ripping around at 17 psi the other day and the FD is running like a champ
