It's a beautiful day, so I'm going to try to stop by. Wow, two times in one summer!

 

I brought the 7 to work with me today, so i will be there today, havent cleaned her in 3 weeks...lol

Dont think Ill be making it tonight guys. Daily driver took a ****.... got to fix it asap. Damn VR6 crackpipes... ugh, and I thought RX-7s were hard to work on.

 

I will roll over in the FD around 630.

A little hot out but it should be a decent night when it cools off

I am 50/50, but its 100% the FD won't be there.

 

I'll come over -- hopefully around 7:00 or so.

I've been busy all week, so definitely could use a night off

 

The FD is still at the paint shop so I'll be mountainbiking instead. Have a great time out there gents ... and Peter, make sure to save one outing for the next time I come out.

Yeah man, whole front of the car is off to get to that pipe.... bumper cover, under support, grill, headlights, radiator, air pump, ect. Got it off. But for some reason VW likes to make high heat items out of plastic. So most of the things I pulled off to get to it broke, therefor tomorrow morning I need to get my *** up and call olympic.

I heard there was a GT-R up there... damn I wish I could have made it.

Yup, the guy just picked it up from Frederick Nissan, it was delivered there at line 2pm that day!!!

 

Yeah, the guy pretty freely admitted to being butt-reamed for the GT-R in order to take delivery now. He needed it for some sort of road rally in two weeks, and I'm guessing paid over $100k for it.

I wouldn't do that, but I have to say it's nicer-looking in person than in photos—and HUGE. Overall, it's at least the size of my friend's E55 AMG.

 

I only got a glimpse really - but it is MUCH bigger than I imagined...

 

I think we had about 7 FD's by the end of the night . Sorry I couldnt get any better shots of the GTR , to many people drooling over it.

 

Car and Driver was testing a bunch of cars at VIR last Thursday, and they had a GTR there among other things. I arrived that afternoon for the NASA event as they were running the last few cars on track. Unfortunately I didn't see the GTR run, but it was sitting in the paddock until Friday afternoon.

It didn't seem that big to me, but then it wasn't sitting in a parking lot full of cars. There was an evo parked next to it and it didn't look that different in size. The big brake rotors actually look pretty small inside the 20" wheels. Very cool race tech two-piece floating rotors.

 

Whos comming out tonight? I talked to Vlad & hes not gonna make it.... anyone else..?!?! common, I want to whoop up on some GT-R tail.

Anyone going to be at chick this friday? Weather suppose to be really nice. I was there last friday in my beater and met 7-sin and bunch of nicely modded RX7s.
