The 2008 Dulles Towncenter Meet Thread
Good to see/meet some of you guys. That was an incredible RX7 turnout, I don't think I've seen that many at one time in one place (except at the shop of course) in quite a while.
I'm really glad I came over -- I enjoyed meeting all you guys and definitely will be back in the near future.
Although you almost lost my MB as soon as you met it... On the way back to Maryland, I was driving on VA-7E and a minivan was doing a hit and run from a pretty big accident and hopped the median and drove straight down the oncoming traffic lane where I was. I got to the side of the road and out of the way, so I was fine, but I hope that the actual people involved in the accident are doing well.

wow...great turnout and I know of at least 4-5 fd's that usually make an appearance that were not around! We need to plan one huge meeting to really blow everyone away :-)
I dropped my car off at Banks Autobody today for touch-ups and an invisibra (or whatever the film is called) treatment, plus I'm having some work done to the exhaust by a local fabricator. Will bring car back out in a couple weeks!
What's the status on your car Andy?

Hopefully I'll be seeing all of you at the next meeting, Friday I'm picking up my first FD. Definitely learned a lot by reading all these pages for the last couple of weeks, thanks for all the good info.

Rob, I did drive my RX7 on friday
It was the release bearing , not the clutch fork.
It's all good now, so give me about three weeks and I will have the tires on my Volks and sporting the new shoes on my RX.
Good night though, a bunch of FD's we havent seen at CF. If we all show I bet we get close to 20 FD's.

One of these days we should plan a club dinner before or after the meet since there's so many good places to eat around there. Not counting CFA that is :P
