I have a 1988 gtu that i got about 3 months ago. it has a switch to turn on and off the fuel pump. also the fuel gauge does not work. i want to fix this to put it back the right way. i was looking at it and found the blue wire from the fuel pump cut and the switch is tied to it. i took off the switch and put together the blue wire and the car does not start. now i open the fuel pump relay(under the dash) and push the contact with my hand and the fuel pump start working. Does anybody knows how can i fix this. i was going to buy a new relay but i want it to make sure first. Thanks for reading my post.
