Does anyone have experience with his work? His shop is like a couple of blocks from my house as well as a couple of blocks from my job. It would be good to use him since he is close to me rather than traveling.

Tito knows his ****!!!.... I've been to his shop a few times... I've seen some wicket starlets and some fast old school rotaries.... I really cant say I've seen any FD's there but then again I have only been there a few times.... He is a great mechanic....

Holy ****. That's a name from the past... I remember seeing Tito running his cars down on Fountain Ave, Hunters Point and other fine locations back in the day. I think I stopped in at his house once to buy some parts. That was in the south bronx at the time.

I still remember that cool *** wide body 1st gen he did with the 300zx nose and front end. Sick ****....

 

I let baba know already. He knew who I was talking about. he said... "oh... the sargent?" LOL.
Tito should be in touch. I will double check today as I have to get with him about a car he is building to ship to PR. I did not have a chance to return his call last night. I will do so today.

I used to also be at fountain and flatlands back then with my 1st gen but that Tito was not the tito you think.

The Tito back then with that 1st gen was Eddie Bello with the fast Porsche.

The Tito from 12th street is a different guy. First time I met him he invited us to his home, really nice guy.

I also know baba, he is a friend of mine as well but I'm sure you got in contact with them already.

I think he moved or closed shop. I called the number, no answer. I drove all down 12th st on the union city side and couldnt find a shop nor a driveway looking thing with cars. Unless its at his house and he keeps it unnoticeable.

 

Its not on 12 St actually. Its behind 12 St in a alleyway. You have to drive slowly or youll miss it. Its in a 3 car garage with a steel gate, but with the temps outside I doubt they would keep the gate open while they work

 

Do you remember between what cross streets?

Like between summit and central? etc?

 

Between Bergenline and New York Ave. I think its called Tonnadale Lane.

Hey people I need some help again. I have been calling him for the past 2 weeks to let him know I will be in the area next week. (Flying in from Germany) I need for him to contact me via e-mail if necessary.(I have some money for him)...no really I do! I need for him to P-port a set of housings for my next project.

My dad used to tell me stories about Tito! When my dad lived in the bronx, him and his friends had a bunch of FBs. My dad's friens Joeyito had his car tuned, widebodied, turbed and sprayed blue with badge leather interior- Tito did the work. My dad's other friend "Boricua" the barber might have had is white first gen modded by Tito. I have heard of some of his work, including the blue widebody FB with the 300zx front clip that my dad got to see in person years ago. I also heard about him racing a bike in a RX-7 and blowing the motor at around 170mph. Hearing stories about rotary tuners with great imagination and determination like that is what drove me to buy an RX-7 and what is gonna make me want to keep modding my car.

(before anybody says anything- yes im a kid, but im not stupid and i wont attempt to do any illegal street racing cuz im aware of the consequences.)

 

I know Baba and Tito very well. I'm Baba's daughter and Tito's goddaughter. Tito is very ill, so he won't be around for a while. You can hit me up with a private message to get pictures of the burgundy 1st gen, that's my dad's.
