The guys from NYC1e's asked me to post this up for them...

We are a few days away from Englishtown's 12th Annual Sport Compact Spring Nationals Drag Race & Car Show which will take place on May 2nd & May 3rd!!! This has been known to be one of the Nation's biggest Sport Compact drag race and car show events to date. If you are coming out to race, enter the car show or spectate, leave your feedback and let us know so that we can add you to the official list!!!

 

ill be there. wish i could get my car there but it doesnt look like it will be ready.

 

i'll be there as a crew member for that yellow fd from nyc.

 

That yellow FD snapped a turbo shaft and a new turbo is in but still need to make a downpipe. That yellow FD broke a tranny but that is fixed now but also damaged a rear which is going back in the car tomorrow. Then to tune for new turbo, then to dyno and make sure all is ok. Then to get a wheel alignment, then to make a test pass to make sure all is ok. With 2 kids and a full time job, spectating looks like a good option for this event!!!

I'm stopping by in a few, word on the street is a low 7 sec machine is at the shop

 

I wish could make it to this event, but I took my car apart to get stuff jet hot silly me doing it in nice instead of the cold hard winter oh well. It would been nice see you guys in action as always, good luck.

Weather is not looking too good at the moment, hopefully it won't rain on Sunday.

 

What happens if it rains on sunday, next sunday then? O wait, thats mothers day.

Im banking on sunday to at least be cloudy, if so ill be there. No FD though, just spectating.

I just called Etown at 9:15am, as of 9:00 AM the recording says all activities are ON. I looked at the hour by hour for Etown for the entire day and it says rain but the radar map looks like passing clouds. Hopefully same luck for tomorrow.

Yup, it's raining like a **** right now. Seems to happen all too often during the april/may weekends
