PP Housing and Iron Epoxy

Trying to decide what product to use on my PP housing and looking at the spec's on the Devcon Steel Epoxy wondering why the liquid is not used instead of the putty? Based on most of the information I have most are using paste and found very little on the liquids use. It appears to have better properties and would do a better job of filling and sealing the coolant passages without air entrapment. Anyone try it?
