t2 intake mani+6-port

can or will the powerband increase w/ using a t2 intake on the 6port? if the stock s4 intake is peaked at 6500 rpm's, will the t2 intake raise the powerband up at all?

I haven't tried it but I don't think it will work well, because you'd have to raise the ports significantly and this would damage flow. Can't diffuse and turn at the same time.

What I'd like to see is a 6 port lower mated to a T2 engine. The angle of attack is much nicer, the T2 lower is badly pinched in order to clear the turbo. This would require quite a bit of welding, though.

Notice the later turbo engines had angled intake ports so they had a fighting chance of flowing well.

(Yes, I used to have a 6-port intake on my T2 block... because it was all I had available, and I didn't even bother to try to port match. The engine ran, and made some power...)
