Hope you're not using motor oil to mix in the fuel. Motor oil is not made to burn or mix. Pick a good two stroke motorcycle premix oil. I've used Bel-Ray GK1, and MC+1 with great results. No plug fouling or funny smoke. Now I'm trying Redline synthetic pre-mix @ 1 oz to one gallon. Also stays in susspension so it never really separates.
Burns clean and lubes well. A fave is Blendzall and VP12. Smells like a racecar!

In the rotary world, it's common knowledge that premix means 2cyl oil.
I'm just letting him know that if too much is used, it will ruin the gas over a time period. It was someting I easily over looked do to me focusing so much on the tuning aspect of my project.
Yeah that could've been part of the problem or the cause, but what is the deal with the blow by on the side seals? I remember an occassion before the engine started acting up that I had a hard time starting it and it was after I had added some fuel and premix. I went back up to work on it a couple days later and brought some fuel with me to dillute the mixture a bit and it seemed like that helped it. I haven't even touched the engine since I put it back together. Now it has low compression on two faces??? It could be from assembly though cause I had a hard time getting the apex corner seals to sit in right when assembling it back together. I'd like to get the engine running but I just don't have the time to mess with it right now since school started back up and I've been kinda just wanting a car to drive so I might just buy a cheap engine to throw in the car and come back to this engine later....

damn, man. it sounds like you have my luck. postponing the semi-peripheral may be best until it's more convenient for you to take up with it again.
