Sorry you are so right, Ill keep my mouth shut and get back to business, Hows porting going on Mark 2?
I talked to the guy I ported the engine in the pics for, he has assembled it but the engines at one end of the country and the car at the other so hes waiting to get a good deal on shipping to ship the car north, Hes talking about going megasquirt for the ecu, hopefully he will have it up in running early in the new year, Ill keep you posted with the outcome.

i don't think you'll notice much of any change in the power band of the engine with that porting. the primary porting needs to be opened up more versus just putting a taper on the closing edge and open up the leading edge more. the secondary main port can also be opened up more towards the closing edge closest to the 5/6th ports. the bridge was almost useless, especially closing it so late versus trying to draw more power out of those ports by opening it earlier.

why do i always have to be the honest bad guy?

My point was that your 'holier than thou' attitude isn't needed here on the forum. Read this part of your post and tell me that you don't look like a complete ***:

One of my jobs as a moderator is to make sure the forum is full of productive posts in the tech section, not people taking unnecessary juvenile potshots.

With my 25,000 plus posts I have helped a ton of people on this site over the years.... your single helpful post included taking a low blow aimed at the rest of the community in general. In my experience anyone with an attitude like the one shown in that post has a low self-esteem, trying to bring others down to appear better than them.

Btw, I've also built street-driven FDs making more power than my personal road race/street car.... I port and build as a hobby on nights/weekends and have about forty 400+ rwhp FDs on the road since 2006.

ditto that, i have built so many cars that make gobs more power than my own, then again i have about 70k on my engine now pushing over twice the horsepower it came from the factory with for nearly it's whole life. sometimes reliability is a better aim than a dyno queen to prove something to people. i hesitate making more power with it because the rear iron is already a weak point on the series 4, but being that i hardly drive it anymore perhaps it's time.

I wish more people thought this way. I will never ever show a dyno chart to anyone ever since practically no one realizes that one of the least important parts of it is the peak number.

so my oil pressure just sky rockets while cranking, like strait to 110 psi! bearing clearance was with in spec. maybe the oil pressure regulator is bad? how should I test? should I even worry?

try swapping the oil pressure sending unit if you have a spare and recheck it.

swaped them tried and tried to start, but the only luck I had was feeding her some gas down the intake. she fired right up im getting like 125psi and shes ran a total of 30sec lol. but in all seriousness im stumped the last thing i can think of is a break in the harness or a clog in the line or rail. thanks and happy thanksgiving to all
