The engine probably will start with a stock EFI but it won't run like it should.

Megasquirt is your best bet, that way you can keep it EFI, control the spark, and you won't need new fuel hardware... Well, maybe TII injectors in the secondaries but it depends on what your injector duty cycle ends up once your engine is built.

What irons are you using? Also what intake manifolds? Are you bridging all of the intake ports or just the front and rear? Will you be cutting into the water jackets or keeping it somewhat mild?

Won't do anything much aside from idle on stock ECU. Go carby or standalone for a bridgey.
