need help

i dont know why but usually when i turn on my car and start driving right away the car would just shut off on its own about a minute later but only when im slowing down.anyone know what my problem is?

and forgot to mention if i leave the car running for awhile after turning it on this problem wont happen.

so restate your problem please, you turn on the car, put it into first, and then it dies without anything happening?

yea pretty much but it would shut off after driving about a minute....and it only happens when i shift down.sorry for making this confusing.

You're not letting the car try and warm up so it bogs and dies. When you let it run for a minute and let it build some heat, it is fine. You obviously answered you're own problem

Could be lots of things. Does it just bog when you give it gas? Or is it dying when you push in the clutch? More details please

Could be a clutch switch if the FC has one, if it was an FD I would almost bank on that being the problem.

Otherwise, can you bump up your idle with the set screw? Could be the BAC valve isnt properly functioning to maintain a higher idle speed especially when cold.

yes my car has a clutch switch......so do you think i should change that?i could try to mess around with the idle.thnks

Check out the mechanical operation of the clutch switch, if you can push it in and out then its probably fine
