na rear end strength

na rear end strength

will a gxl lsd rear end handle around 225 whp? with a good dif mount?

It depends very much on the use, drag launches on slicks is a lot different than driving it gingerly to the store.

pinion snubber... I slide around on my 181,xxx diff with a pinion snubber(bump stop) installed. It works. But plan to change pumpkins. You will in the future.

They last a hell of a lot longer than the transmissions and driveshafts do, that's for sure.

Gear ratio plays a huge role. The lower the gear the weaker the gearset and the larger the forces it places on the carrier. One of my friends broke a 4.78 gearset with a stock port 6-port.
