My setup, NA for a bit?

I have recently rebuilt my S4 TII block using S4 NA rotors, RA classics, stock ports. I will be doing a TDX61 turbo soon when funds allow, but have been purchasing other parts first (Haltech, fuel system, rad setup etc). I don't want to put on my old stock turbo that seems to leak a bit, so was thinking of putting my NA header and filter on while I do my break in period. My only concern is my fuel system as I am using 4x1000cc, but since I have a Haltech, I should be able to tune it out, correct?
Anyone have a similar setup?

if it doesn't tune out NA, it wont tune out turbo either.

actually the bonus doing it NA first is that you can get the tune really good in the part of the map that will be vacuum.

So the extra injector CC can just be "stand by" for when boost is introduced. Should put close to the same a regular NA build then I suppose?

is the haltech hooked up? if your still running the stock ecu just run that till you get all the other stuff together, 1000 cc is killing your fuel, if the haltech is hooked up with a minor tune on it that should be fine for break in or dd. if its giving you hesitation then have your tuner re scale the map so 0-20 is negative boost, and you can tune the whole motor, until your ready to put everything on. look up my build, I'm running t2 block n/a rotors full bridge port, all motor running apexi pfc.

Right on, will do. My stock wiring is crap, so next week I will be wiring the Haltech and go from their. Its my first rebuild so first things first is getting it running and driving.
Thanks for the responses

I broke-in and tuned my engine initially NA on my old Haltech E6k.

It worked fine just using just my 720cc primaries and even the 3 bar map sensor (low resolution for vacuum range).

1000cc primaries alone should be good for all you can get out of a sideport NA engine.

If you are just learning tuning this is a really good way to go because you can learn the basics without endangering your engine due to detonation.

You will have to re-tune the vacuum/low load areas a bit once you put the turbo on, but it will be fast since you will be really familiar with it by then.

Or you could do a real NA tune with stock injectors staged and a lower pressure map sensor/scaling for more resolution if you are going to be a while NA.

Quick question on the injectors/double checking.
I can install the primary and secondary injectors but then change the setting in haltech so its no staged to run only primaries, correct?

You can, I just kept my staging by boost on my E6k and so it ran on the primaries alone when NA.
