Motorcycle carbs

I was thinking about what carb setup I should go with (Edelbrock 500 vs. a DCOE) when I remembered motorcycle carbs. I would have to make my own intake manifold (kind of like a lake city style manifold, but with an upwards angle to keep the float bowls happy. Each port gets it's own barrel) and possibly an intake plenum with a 3" intake pipe leading through the radiator support and into the grille area with a conical filter at the end.
I was looking at some carbs from Suzuki bikes which are 36mm, which in my mind would be ideal for a mild streetport 12A. Rotary engineering DGV kits used twin two barrel 36DGVs, so the bike carbs should act similar if I'm imagining this correctly.
I may even be able to make up a linkage to open the center barrels by half pedal, and the outer barrels by full petal travel for better fuel mileage, but that's assuming I can attach individual throttle arms to each carb.
The final issue would be tuning, I haven't really researched how to tune CV motorcycle carbs yet, or if I can get the right sized jets and needles for the carbs.

This is similar to what I'm thinking of, except with carbs instead of ITBs.

Try search on motorcycle carb, I found some hits. Heres a nice description using some Kaw carbs from an ex500. Looks like its cheap too.

The problem with the EX500 carbs is that they're very small, I think they're 32mm. Most two barrels on 7s are in the mid-to-high-40mm range. I'd like to either go with 4 carbs, or make up a manifold and run twin SU carbs from a 240Z (I have some of those too, my backup plan) The SUs are a little on the large size at ~50mm, but like the bike carbs, they're constant velocity carbs that won't bog or act like a 51 IDA on a stock port 12A.
After a little research, I'm liking the fact that they're simple to tune, at least more simple and easy to understand then webers or holleys. (Maybe that's because they're very similar to Nitro RC car carbs) The problem lies in finding jets and needles for the carbs, but I guess that's what motorcycle shops are for.

Yeah, I have Dell 48 DHLA on my stock port 12A. Runs great but it took awhile to dial it in to my liking.
