Modding the Vert

Hello all. I have reached the point where I would like a little more punch from my DD vert, and have come up with a mod list that I would like you guys to give me your feedback on.

Firstly, it's a stock 13B reman'd from Mazda with about 20k on it, and it's a 5 speed.
It already has the Racing Beat cat-back dual exit, but other than that it's stock.

Here's what I'm planning:
RteK 2.0 for S5 N/A's (heard excellent things)
HKS Super Mega Flow Intake
Wideband O2 (see question below)
Racing Beat Road Race Header
Racing Beat PreSilencer (to make it full Road Race System)
Walbro 255 Fuel Pump
Koyo Aluminum Radiator
Tokico Blues with RB Springs
Prothane Bushins
Corksport Strut Bar Set

My question is this: I know that I need a wideband O2 for the RteK and other mods to be fully utilized, so I was wondering which wideband people recommend for use with the RteK, and how to install it on the car properly, as well as hook it to the RteK properly?

Thanks,
~Josh

Scratch that question. http://www.rotorsportsracing.com/per...engine_mgt.htm I'll be going with the AEM one at the bottom. Now I'm just gonna have to research the tuning methods and stuff. Anybody see any issues with these mods, or have an estimate of how much power I'll be putting down? I'm not expecting a huge increase. But better throttle response and no more trying to flood when hot-starting will be nice.

That sounds like a pretty good list. I just picked my first vert, so I'm a little curious of my options as well

Thanks, man! I basically tried to compile a list of the parts all NA guys seem to go with or recommend. All I'm really looking for is a little beefier power curve and a bit more throttle response. As well as the Rtek being able to fix the hot-start "flooding" issue, and a bit more fuel efficiency. I don't think this list is too much of a stretch. It just feels like my vert bogs down when it gets hot. Nothing detrimental, just doesn't have the same response as when it's a little cooler. That's what this list is for. More power, efficiency, kinks and throttle response. Good luck with your vert! They're a blast.

So you aren't porting at all? Just fuel mods?

I don't intend to port or rebuild for now. Which is why this whole thing has been put on the back burner. If I want power, I need to either port or go turbo and I don't have the cash for that at the moment. So I'm gonna go a few small things now and then, when I have the time and money, do a full rebuild/port or turbo swap. But that could be a year from now, I just have no idea right now.

If you want the power to "clean" up some just get a piggyback (AFC neo is nice) and a wideband. I saw 10.8:1 AFR's stock.... no need for a 255 pump in a N/A either. You just need to pull fuel and stay in the high 12:1 low 13:1 AFR's.
