Just some short PP questions for the knowledgeable guys

I started school this year to become a machinist, so I have access to mills/lathes, CNC machines, the works. Ive sold most of my turbo items, and Im going to be building a 13b PP motor. Just some quick questions, which I havent found answers while searching.

1. My plan is to run a TWM 62mm ITB setup, which I was told would be great for road racing, please give me ya or na on this decision, and reasons.

2. If I do run a 62mm setup, what size hole should I drill? I saw scalliwag was drilling a 2in hole for Ken, and Ken was making over 300rwhp, which is my goal.

3. Has anyone tried using wiggins clamps to hold the throttle body pipes?

1. seems to be the hot size right now, but it depends on #2

2. since the hole size gives you port timing, and port timing give you the power curve. you wanna figure the power curve out, and this will give you the port timing and then the size. Mazda has published a couple of SAE papers, 841017 "Recent technology development of high powered rotary engine at Mazda" and i think 900036 or 900032.

3. dunno, will it support a 10lbs weight like that?

900032. There's a scanned copy of it floating around somewhere. Note that as far as I can tell, the 2" hole is the OD of the aluminum tube going in... so the actual size of the hole for the port is a bit smaller.

Those are not MFR housings. I have a MFR intake that bolts up to those plates. The intake tube mounted in the housing is not attached to the bolting flange.

My father in-law has pictures in one of his mazda books with this intake on there MFR housing engine with mechanical fuel injection.

I have a weber 48IDA

side by side of various housings
