Rotors still spinning

I've used a single MSD 6A on the leading coil for years. Works great. Some people go nuts and use 3 boxes so they have the leadings and the trailings covered but I don't see any reason to do this. As others have said, the stock coils are awesome. I have never had high rpm breakup issues. Just buy a 6A and leave everything else as is stock coils and all. Only one thing to wire in.

What about putting a capacitor in line with the MSD?
I had never heard of this, but recently a friend of mine bought a weekend racer from and it had it on there. The guy who he bought the car from didnt know much about the car. He just had a lot of money and paid a shop to build the car so he could race it instead of his corvette.
The car isnt running right yet. It had been sitting for a couple years before my friend bought it. He said he tested the spark with a spark plug out of the engine sitting on the strut tower. He said you could hear the spark "snap" louder than he has heard one before.
Here is a picture of it mounted in the engine bay, I cirlced it in the top of the pic.
