Haltech 6-port S5 Fc Project
Hey guys I just started my project about 2 weeks ago I was initially going to do another 6-port turbo then looked at the price of gas..
I had all the stuff from a previous car and just bought a new to me 89 fc that had been in a garage for the last 10 years Only has 150,000 kms or 93,000 miles on it super clean for an Fc even the pinch welds are perfect the car had not been started im 10 years as well So some stuff was tight and seized thankfully the motor wasn't so far I changed the fuel pump and battery and it fired right up then took it over to the mazda dealer and got an oil change asap let me tell you driving on 10 year old tires sucks
The car started out with a blue interior and My old 91 had a black interior so that was the first thing I did was swap the black stuff in thank god i had a complete car to swap from there are sooo many little pieces
anyways the plan is to build a fun track car that I can drive every weekend to the track and be reliable
The car is an 89 GXL Car has a Mazda reman motor from 10 years ago with about 3000km's on it (1800 miles)
I plan on having working Vdi and 5/6th ports controlled by the haltech Which of course would require me having an Air pump I'd even like to build some sort of airbox that will take the air from the scoop on my turbo 2 hood
The parts:
Haltech e6x
Aem wideband
Fuel pressure gauge
Jic coilovers
4.77 final drive (hopefully) with oem lsd
Fd front calipers Hawk hp+ pads
Filter Right on the throttle body
83" long primary tube header (I think up in the air)
Premix
Side mount alternator
EGT gauge
E-fan
Fd Fuel pump
550cc secondaries (I had them laying around and my 460's were leaking)
91 Coupe wheels
turbo 2 hood
ls1/2 coils
Anyways pics of the progress so far!
When I first got her I now have a Turbo2 hood on it
Original Paint !!!!

Was 100% all original when I started
When I had it up on a hoist
Changed the 10 year old pump No it didnt run on this thing
The fuel pressure gauge
The new Aem dryflow Filter and Haltech air temp sensor
I dont think its big enough...
The Sound that this motor makes with the intake setup like this is unreal lol

Anyways I'll post up more pics As I clean up the engine bay and fully delete the A/c install coilovers and make a trip to the dyno

I dont have any pics of it without the wheel on but I can tell you its real close to the back of the rim
Ive been chasing a really bad noise issue making the car run horrible, I took the alternator off and it runs soo much better now
I just gotta figure out how to make the haltech stage the injectors differently right now it will only turn the secondarys when the map sensor see 1 psi
