FD3S 13B-REW N/A ITB Racecar

Well guys figured I might as well post my build to inspire others and to get advice and recommendations as it comes together. I posted this in a build thread too but feel like I'll get more support over here. For now I'll list some mods and expectations.

I am building my car for racing application, so I follow a power-to-weight formula. You will not see big numbers here although I will dyno to see what I can achieve. Hoping for a good ~215WHP.

- Stock S8 13B-REW
- EFI Pro-Series IDA throttle body kit (55/53/50mm) w/ airbox kit
- 1000cc injectors
- V-Mount radiator
- Apexi Power FC (I know I know)
- Rywire harness
- Recommendations on fuel pump and adjustable FPR?
- Upgrade ignition coils?

I'll add more onto the list but just having fun with this build.
I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for the Power FC and in time I will upgrade to a Haltech 1500 most likely but it works for now. As for injectors I may just run 4 550cc or 2 1000cc, have to see how annoying it is to tune. Learning about fueling so I'll take all the help I can get with tuning.

Here are some pictures of it mounted, not too pleased with the airbox kit. It goes from way too big to a small circumference bend and then into a big box. Might just make my own carbon fiber air box.

All about advice, suggestions and critiques.

Well been a minute since I have posted but life and money gets in the way of making a cool racecar. Here is some updates since I have been slow.

Engine is basically done:
-All parts blasted/painted
-New sensors all around
-Banzai Racing oil pan brace
-Banzai Racing Street Engine Mounts (not pictured)
-Pineapple Racing Oil filler neck (not impressed)
-ACT ProLite flywheel 9.8lbs
-OMP block off
-Pro-Jay dummy injectors (REALLY nice quality)

Gonna have to grind down the air pump mounting location because it contacts the EFI Air Box (siiiiiiiick EFI) although I wont blame EFI Hardware because I am using a unique set-up.
Also need to install the power steering and brackets. Still need to custom make an exhaust, if anyone has tips that would be helpful. So far I'm either modifying an RB header for a 13b-rew engine (as in redirecting it to the midpipe) or starting from scratch.
AST Rollcage is being put in as we speak, holy sh*t do I have to cut my whole car up but oh whale. They also have AMAZING instructions, highly recommend.

Any updates on the engine? I know it's been a while, but I'm researching NA builds.

Theres enough port area to make those numbers but I find to break the 200 wheel mark more overlap is needed than stock, whether or not you widen the intake or raise the exhaust closing. I build e-production engines pretty regularly and 215 to the wheels is a pretty solid number for a race ported 6 port (rules).
