Why would it be surprising to hit 230rwhp? You do realize this is the same engine that already made 230rwhp 5 years ago in my 1st gen right?

They are in Denver North Carolina. They do work for NASCAR and were really cheap surprisingly, but that was in 2006. Did my fd downpipe for $60 $20 for shipping. I would have to say it would be more now.

You can put your hand on the pipe after engine is warmed up. I didn't think that was possible but...

It made 227hp, not bad with power steering, a/c, and a restrictive RB catback and the stock fan. Just an electric fan would have allowed 230hp+. Logan has proved that.

Logan wanted to do the full exhaust but being an old guy, I like a more quiet exhaust note so I can listen to my classic rock cds while I drive around my old Rx-7. lol

I assume it was a Dynopack which I believe is what Logan has used in the past. I will get the paperwork soon. It was tuned this past Monday.

That is awesome!

I'm sure everybody including myself would love more photos of the header! Or the whole exhaust system. Any idea on the primary length before the collector?

Logan got rid of the Dynopack, did he not give you the dyno printout?

He made it a little shorter than he wanted, why he didn't say but it is fine. I wasn't out to set a record. I just knew he does great work and wanted something different. Probably 100hp or so more than stock. I probably killed some hp wanting the racing beat presilencer and catback. But I wanted it somewhat quiet so it's the price you pay.

Actually the hp is pretty impressive considering how quiet it is.

We are definitely happy to make 227 with such a quiet exhaust. The header was built using my formulas, but the racing beat exhaust threw it off some. Now that it had been to the dyno, I think adding 2 inches will add possibly 10 hp. We were running break in plugs too, which new ones add 2 hp or so. I think the car has 235-238 in it. Rick is a great customer, very easy to work with. I won't be disclosing the length, but pics of the whole system are on our Facebook page

^Thanks Logan! I took a peak at the photos on your website with the longer systems and I must say they are impressive!

So was this the exact engine from the test mule, or just the same setup?

As far as I know, it was close to the same except the test engine had more of a free flowing exhaust.

Got the GTUs back yesterday. Haven't had time to really drive it. Drove it in the wet today. couldn't really do much. The engine sounds great. 226 hp Logan has the dyno info and he will post it.

There's more power there. I just like how quiet it is and how the engine sounds. It's a beautiful thing. I may have said that more than once now.

I haven't had time, but we did take some footage of the dyno runs :-) Will be downloading soon. Might be back to our shop for stage 2 also, so stay tuned.

I can't wait to see some footage! I've been wanting to hear a 13B on the defined headers, but no one seems to have any videos of it.... Quick off topic question for you Logan, are your 6-port headers made for stock ports or for more of a street/bridge port set up?
