crazy new project... maybe

i was at work to day and my boss bought a old fiat/merc/rolls dealership and we discoverd a old fiat lebertone i think its a '72 and shes red a little rusty but from what i understand they were pretty fast back then and its light like 1500lbs tops. and i asked him abot it since he was in a really genorious mood (he already gave me a set of bmw rims 17's and three turbos) and i tryed to buy it off of him but i think he said he was gonna give it to me. was thinking a 6 port center section what ever end irons i can get and fill them in and pp them carb distributor maybe a little meth. was thinkin maybe 300hp in a light little rear engine(maybe mid) rwd car and the 5spd that sounds like a hell of a good time to me.

is it a spider or the sedan? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_124 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiat_124_Sport_Spider

i like the spiders, they are really nice cars. comfortable, good looking, they drive very nicely. its a really well balanced package.

however the spiders engine bay is really narrow, the stock engine is actually really small. i'm not sure a rotary would fit without major surgery.

lol, man now i want one!

i guess the stock engine is kind of the weak point, but its a light mid engine car = potential!
