44 idf and intake omp linkage ?

44 idf and intake omp linkage ?

I bought a 44idf weber for my stock 12a , looks like there are some holes in the intake for the linkage ,has anyone had this set up and know what the omp linkage rod looks like ?

if you have a stock nikki, you can use the linkage of it and a welding rod or cloth wire hanger in lieu of the stock MOP rod. I cant remember how a 44 IDF goes but it will require more mocking if your IDF is top pull instead of bottom pull.

I think thats awesome.

so long as that cable returns that should work tops. Is the OMP spring tensioned?

I've thought about bicycle cabling for choke and throttle cable as well (ex bike mechanic / salesman here)

yes the omp spring works , the only thing I have to watch is the cable , the cable is single wound and can work harden , the bike shops don't sell double wound cable any more .
