not sure if this is the right place for this. perhaps the new member section.
1. check common-sense-stuff like your fluids and brakes. replace anything that seems suspect. i usually change fluids when i buy a car regardless of what the previous owner tells me. make sure your OMP is working or that you're premixing. do a full tuneup.
2. that's a vague question. you'll need to specify what auxillary gauges you plan to install. wiring would be pretty straightforward, again, depending on what you're installing.

since you don't have the yet, don't worry about it. the stock gauges may not be the MOST accurate devices in the world, but they're usually just fine for stock or lightly modified setups. when you get the car and get it all sorted out then you can get the adapter block and run aftermarket pressure and temperature gauges from it.

As for wiring diagrams just pick up a haynes repair manual or an FSM, they have both helped me sort things out many times. Heres a link to the tech section of rx7city.com, not the best site in my opinion but im damn gald the posted the FSM so its at easy reach. http://rx7city.com/techconnect.htm

Go to the bottom of the page, blue thing that sits in between your oil filter and the engine.
