13bt to n/a

i recenly puchased a 13bt i want to just run a 48 ida webber and j port the engine to run at the auto x
would this be a good idea
i have to use 5 ;1 rear end on my toyota motor
so thats how short the tracks are
thats why i dont want to go turbo
would this woork what kind of power will i get from this set up would i get power in the 2500 rpms

welcome to the board.

not sure exactly what characteristics you'll need or what your competition will be running, but you may want to use higher compression rotors in your build since you're not going to use the turbo any more. it should help your powerband where you'll need it.

yeah taking the turbo lower c/r motor to make a n/a....is a bad idea in the beginning.

Eh, the airplane guys do it all the time.

I wouldn't go massive on the ports, keep the opening-time as late as possible on the bridge area if you're going with a J port. Keep velocity up. You don't want something super peaky if your straights are short.
