what exactly can be remove from the engine that u dont need or can block off

If you really want to go minimalist go with a Weber 48 IDA and distributor and ditch every sensor, the wiring, the computer, all the emissions stuff, the PS, AC, airpump and alternator and just keep charging the battery. If you're really crazy about weight then go with a PP using the RB aluminum plates, use a super light flywheel and 5.5" clutch setup and RX-8 e-shaft, and lightened rotors. Use thin wall exhaust piping, it won't sound as nice but will be lighter. Ditch the OMP and premix also.

That'll only be what, like $20k assembled by a good shop?
