I'd would guess MAC autosports could do it... they have guys that can program haltec's and a few other ems's so I would assume they could handle that, they've tuned a few fd's, and they'll be tuning mine. uh get ahold of mikeb I think he may have that setup, ask who tuned his.

We will be bringing a tuner in from out of state in the Spring again. If you cannot wait until then there are some guys in Colorado that can tune the Power FC. The people who claim they can tune this setup are.....

Jim Berg (Mazda-Honda shop Highlands Ranch) No sure what the new name is for their shop. He has the most Rotary experience
Eric (9 second racing in Broomfield) They learned to tune on a Rotary engine
Nick (Mac in Parker) Has done a few Rotaries

I would also trust Servion in the Springs but not much Rotary experience if any.....One of the best tuners in Colorado though for power.

My personal opinion is that tuning a Rotary is much harder than any tuner will admit. I really would like to bring Demetrious from Reactive Racing out and give him a try since he has a 7 second FD and has tuning experience here in Denver at NHRA. It was amazing to see him shave a couple of seconds off his time just from tuning. The hard part is he will not be availible during the racing season.

Guys like Steve Kan and BDC are strictly Rotary tuners and that is all they do. BDC has the most experience at altitude since he has been out here many times. Call me if you need any of their phone numbers.

My experience is the guys we fly in are only slightly more expensive (to pay for airfare). As long as we get at least 5 people....it shouldn't be a big difference in price.

Well I have been going to the 7 meets for a few years now and have had the chance to meet a lot of you. And help you with your cars.

I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR SUPPORT !!

I have only been at my new job for 4 days now but. It looks like the word is already out that I have Moved away from the mazda honda shop (AKA county line import auto) The new owners didnt want any of the performance work. And all I want is performance work. The old maz hon shop no longer has an rx7/miata tech.

A&H automotive is my new home. 303-400-9695. I still build rotary eng. out of my home and help Nic at MAC on wide open throttle tuning. (I must give him a big thumbs up) Nic is good at corect fuel curves. He can make your car fun to drive and safe at wide open. but for big HP cars and to tune any mid range stumbles or high detonation points out he will direct you to me.

No more buisness crap. I want to BRAG about my new 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm going to signe the title on my first 3rd gen this thursday. an r1 that needs an eng. It is still simple. a power fc and comander. full exhaust. but 3 years ago about 45k miles ago I tuned it at 360hp ( total of 80k miles on the eng) MAC still has the dyno runs to show.I wish it still ran!!! The only bad thing is that it is red. a broken eng is no problem. But the Paint Sucks.

thank you. and give me a ring if ya need!

Jim,

Good for you. I've been giving out your cell phone number so hopefully it hasn't changed I may bug you to crack open the engine soon. It's been leaking fuel into the oil since I got it back from Louie 3 years ago. I don't know if you noticed while you were working on it. I think I want to take care of it now since it's running really nicely.

Wow were can I get that purple 7 as a poster I have a spot for it above my shop bench.
Ill bet its just an R/C car cuz ther ant no driver. Im a smert feller HU. Thanks for the good word Brandon. my cell number is still the same any one can call. Why do you think there is a lot of fuel in your oil. a little/lot stinky? is there a lot of crankcase presure? Leaking inj? It might not be a bad eng. Im in Parker. Let me take a look.
Maybe you just need to sell me the car for 50$ and not worry about it. I dont want you to get any gray hair over it.

Jeff Romeo was the original owner of my new 7. A long term customer. and (i think) Arap. county Judge. He kept it well polished. a young guy named cody then drove it for for not long.it went to Texas for about a year.
Hay Brian what brand of wax works to get Galviston Bay crud off your car? He was in that area. It smells like swamp water but no corrosion under the car and no flood mud under the carpet. just a lot of normal dust and the paint is not in good shape. But I dont care what shape its in. my wife and i have a lot of Plans for change over the next LOTS of years. Most of the original will be put in the trash.

Its hard for me to find time to get online as I devote my life to my Family WORK, WORK and car friends.
NOT my computer desk............... If i dont answer the phone call me again.

Ha, a poster would be cool. I've actually got that pic at a higher res if you want to try.

There's a stong gas smell from the oil. It's not getting worse really, it's been there since the 13b went in. 20w-50 goes in and 10w comes out.

$50 huh, that doesn't even pay for the labor that you've put into it!

Jim is the only person in the state I trust touching my car for tuning. You won't be dissapointed working with him.

He's tuning my car further this winter! I cant wait...
