OK, so i joined the group and posted a couple pictures there, but this site likes to resize them itself and ruin the quality, so if you want the full album with higher quality photos, they are in the 2nd gen non tech pictures subforum, in the "Pics of your car go in this thread" thread.

Thats just oil ash build-up. Not too uncommon, but it was definitely time for a new set! Good meeting you last night. Hopefully you can stay a little longer at the meet. And any questions you have just fire away. Oh, BTW, the TII that was over last night ended up having a bad engine. Just rebuilt but it has leaky coolant seals. Looks like another Steve Duran motor I'm going to have to fix. I've lost count of those now...

well haven't you all been busy!

Someone buy my stock front fenders, front bumper, and hood off of me. I also have an a1000 + in-line filter to get rid of. I'm just too lazy to make a for-sale thread for any of it.

I'm having lots of problems, being a first time rotary owner. Bad tps, found a new tps, set it to the correct settings that minion (jake) showed me, and now its still having a hard time idling. stays at 800, jumps to 2k, then dies. Also, still can't figure out why I'm running so damn rich when I'm on 550cc injectors. Will an rtek help me?

The BAC (aka idle air control valve) can wreak havoc on your idle. Would be worth the effort to check it out. Good luck with your idle issues.

An Rtek ecu is a nice plug-n-play upgrade if you don't want to go full standalone. I've used mine to pull a lot of fuel from the upper power band.

Did you touch any vacuum lines or intake hoses? Maybe you mis-routed or didn't connect one. Possibly a stuck open wastegate? Just some possibilities.

Oh yes I finger effed with the vac lines quite a bit. Pretty sure I can figure that out though. Also, I pulled the primary injectors and found one is cracked, so that could be a major issue too. But for some reason the car is running s5 injectors in an s4 engine. So I'm going to buy some s4 style injector connectors and see if running the 550cc injectors I got from Minion (Jake) will make a difference. I just need to get a day off work and devote some major time to routing the vacuum lines correctly.

maybe edward's engines. I know they carry red line products, not sure about royal purple though. For some reason I feel like I remember speedlab being a royal purple dealer.

Napa carries RP XPR in 5W30 and 20W50. I need to run a few winter events, but mostly spring/summer/fall events, so the 20W50 would work most of the time. I'd prefer the 10W30 since it covers all seasons; however, they don't stock 10W30.

Sean, I should be able to make the meet. I posted a reply in the meet and greet thread.

So i got a rear camber kit to fix my fucked rear end, and am planning on installing it in the next few days or whatever, but I'm fairly certain my toe is screwed as well...So i kinda need an alignment pretty bad. Can anyone hook me up? If not, who can i go to that won't tell me they can't touch it because the rear tires are worn down too much? (No **** idiot, hence why I'm wanting it fixed) I tried Discount Tire, and that's essentially what they told me. The rear tires are worn down too much and the fronts have like 5mm or so spacers on them so it posed a liability issue and they weren't allowed to touch it and sent me on my way. Haven't really tried anyone else yet but if they say it I'd assume the bigger tire shops will say it as well.
