Ransom,
good to see you bro at the Breaks that night. Sorry I couldn't give you a shout but you know how that goes. Always so much to do and so little time. That trip was great and always is hard to leave.
GET THAT CAR RUNNING!
I did some re-wiring tonight just because I was bored and drunk(couldn't drive then), my whole harness is brand new now. Runs smoother and fixed some slight hesitations under partial throttle. I am going to get an E6X set up soon but just need a little more cash. Those bastards at Haltech are thieves but it will be worth it.

Hey,
Who has the N/A second gen who has black wheels with the polished lip? I think they live on 26th street.
I saw SO many second gens when home, made me car sick. I wish i could hang there with you dudes but maybe in a year or so. There is talk of a two year transition for the F-15 training back home at the guard. So us Cali/Montana guard personnel might be home to for that time span. If that is the case, car is coming up too! Another one to join the pack!

That is Ryan's car..Yeah I understand the whole family thing its no problem at all..I will hopefull have the car running by the end of september. I am pretty confident in this time frame. My Turbo is off and will be back this next week. After that all I need to do is have my injectors cleaned and buy lots of fluids. Oh and buy a spherical bearing kit.. I should be getting to work really heavy in about 3 weeks cause I should have everything I need..
No, put the money for the springs into my new Megasquirt standalone. Sooooo tired of being restricted from the factory ecu and the F-CON. It will help bring out some xtra ponies in combination with my turbo/fuel system and timing.
Wish I would have never sold those RSR's. Oh well, gotten kinda of use to its stance. Those pics make it look a lot taller then it is in person.

Heyo, i'm up and running in zoo town as of about a week ago. I have about the most ghetto looking white TII around, but its running great so far. Me and superstock 2 are the only running TIIs in missoula that i've seen. HOLDIN IT DOWN. If youre in town pm one of us and we'll meet up cuz we have so few 7 ppl here.
yeah missoula is where its at... for idiot ricers... anyway i say in the spring or summer we have a montana/idaho rx-7 meet... that would be the ****. we could all road trip to like phillipsberg and hit up the drapstrip, or somewhere else but that would be cool!!

If it makes you guys feel any better, it was like 87 degrees today and about 65% humidity so my engine bay was MAD heat saturated and wasn't even worth driving. Felt so f*ing slow.
Snow, extreme heat, either way you can't drive the 7 to its full potential.

Just got back from Seven Stock 9. Great car show, wish some of you dudes could have been there. Let me tell you though that day started out SHITTY for me.
On my way there at like 7 in the morning, I am driving on the 215 freeway and all of a sudden I hear this noise and immediatly this object flys over my hood!My eyes catch it in my rearview mirror and watch it fly to the shoulder of the freeway and when it hits the ground it SHATTERS to a **** load of pieces. I am confused and not hoping for the worst.
SO, i pull over, get out of my car and right away focus on the front of my car....bumber looks good, intercooler is fine BUT then I look at my hood and.........my ******* hood scoop insert was the object that flew off.
I couldn't believe my eyes. There I am off to put my FC in this car show(it's registered and everything) and now I have a huge gapping hole in my hood. I was so pissed, almost bailed on the show but I figured I would be able to find someone with a spare insert. Plus, I think an all rotary car show was the ONLY thing that would cheer me up after that.
Got my car parked in the show and had the hood open, so you really couldn't even tell the scoop insert was missing. I saw a lot of sick FD's and FC's plus some cool 1st gens and RX-3's. My car got quite a bit of attention which made me pretty happy(nice to get some recongnition for all the money and hard work put into the pig).
BEST part of the day was: 1) I got a replacement insert for fifty bucks, perfect just needs paint
2) I got 2nd place in the 2nd gen competition for the car show!
I couldn't believe it, trust me there were nicer FC's there but apparently it was best overall car. Some FC's had badass exteriors but either the engine bay was stock or the interior was shitty. That made my day for sure.
How is everyone else doing? I will be up on the 2nd through the 9th for my cousins wedding. Oh, I should mention in about a year my cousin Seth will be coming back home to open up a professional mechanic shop. He is a rotary guru PLUS knows everything about the piston reciprocating engine. A great dude to go to who does top notch work. NEVER CUTS CORNERS. Keep your eye out foe his shop in the near future.
