hey ransom i know you! you came and looked at my 7,the 82 that i sold to josh. i think his names josh? that burgundy one when i lived by the russel museum. i used to work for an independant honda mazda shop in escondido california where all we worked on was imports,90% of our business was all 3 gens of rx7's. i myself specialize in 1st and 3rd gens. not to boast but i would guess that i have more knowledge of 3rd gens than anyone in great falls. just from years of hands on ****. but yeah if anyone has a stock intake and carb for a 1st gen please let me knmow i need that set up asap! i just sold my bad *** volvo too just so i could afford to build this 7 so look out for it soon,cheasy non removeable chrome and all lol. but seriously anyone feel free to email me so we can get together and bs etc. share resources. since mt is not a hot spot for any imports the more connections the better. dave, ampzilla88@aol.com

Thats a nice lip!!!!! I want to put a lip on mine but since I custom cut my S4 front bumber for the intercooler Im kinda screwed. Maybe I'll get a kit when they all stop looking so ricey. They take away from the cars nice lines. Totally jealous of kyle.

Ohh.. the friction disc I mentioned earlier is the right one. The specs are exactky the same for the ACT disc aswell, The problem has got to be the "step" being none existant on my old light weight flywheel. I ordered the 13lb steel from Prostreet.com. It has the step and is new, hopefully this corrects my troubles because I can see nothing wrong with my throw out bearing, release fork, spring, needle bearing and release cylinder. Wow this has become a major pain. Engine rebuilds have gone smoother then this.

ive got an fd and live in great falls, though the marine corps has me working out in new york now. hopefully ill make it back this summer to drive it around some. i havent seen any other fd's around the past few times ive been home.

 

I have an fd, but it hasn't been on the streets in a little over a year, its black shot flames out of the exhaust!! pretty entertaining when someone is tailgating you!

 

Yeah I have seen your FD. Nice car. Hope it hits 12's. My fc should be hitting around there when I get a tune too.

Hey whatsup i just got a rx7 and installed a new clutch in it and it runs great. Im in Great Falls just like 87-Rexxer-GXL. oh yea matt i got that slave cylinder rebuilt and it works awesome

 

My friend my friend was telling me he met a guy at an autocross and he was telling me this guy had like 12 rx7s and did all kinds of crazy stuff to em... he said he lives in kalispell. he also said he was on rx7club.com- anybody know who that is?

I had no idea there were this many people that own rx7's around this area (Great Falls)... i have two a silver 88 se, and a black (red flames) 87 tII. 87-Rexxer-GXL, i think i just talked to you yesterday about parting my silver rex. I talked to my mom and she said it's ok, so i'll checkout what a good price would be.

 

Yea thats me, And yea just call me when you find a decient price or we can talk about it. Or if you have time I'll stop by with my car and see whats up.

Whats up dudes. Hope all is well in G-funk. Got the FC running and she is hauling ***. only bad thing is rear main seal is leaking so i need to drop the tranny AGAIN and replace the seal. Other then that got to do two dyno pulls a couple weeks ago and fist pull I got 317 to the wheels but was way rich. second pull I was at about 13.5(safe) and got 334 at the wheels. Not bad for a hybrid for about 300$.

Ransom, how you doing dude? Hows the Car? running?

 

I thought you must have gotten it running. Since you where MIA. I am doing well, Got my motor waiting on some money for the rest of my parts. Hopefully I should have it running by the end of June for sure. 334 that is pretty nice. Kyle keeps letting me drive his car and it is making me kind of crazy. Other then that I have a lot of work to do. Haha

 

Cool, let me know when you get it running. Im pretty happy with 334 but I still want a little more, I am going to get the Haltech set up and get rid of the damn ECU(hindering me so much). Then maybe I will get a new turbo but thats when I will have some more extra cash.
What is Kyle pushing? he still using a factory turbo? If so tell him to get a hybrid, it is cheap and they pull HARD all the way to redline.

 

Yeah he is still running the factory Turbo. I don't have a clue what he is pushing. Also he just got married so I don't know if he will be spending much money on the car as he will most likely be trying to buy a house or something soon..I will let ya know when the car is runnin..
