Saw someone in an FD today in Fort Collins. Almost broke my neck.

 

hey my name is DJ i just got my dream car the one an only FD its been a hard stars but im on track with it.
i got the car from a guy that had told me that the car just needed a rad. due to on the way home from work he had hit some thing in the road an spit the rad. so he took 500 off the price (10,000) he had told me that there was a new engine in it an there was some thing on it that i liked (big brake kit ect.) so i said ok an i picked it up. i put in a god speed rad. an come to find out that the coolant seals are bad an the trans grinds . i called the guy to see if he would help me out. (we had signed a paper that said if any thing was not right that he will buy the car back or help with repairs when i talked to him he said im S.O.L cuz he has no idea what i did. fucked up right i was about to take him to court but i said **** it carma is a bitch he will get his one day! but as of now i have a used engine an trans on the way thanks to japan2la an we will see the out come of that. also im new to rotarys but iv been in love with the 7 for well my whole life lol. iv had sw20's an 240's but now i got my FD!

Going to be here till almost the end of April. Here for work. I didnt bring my 7, but flying home to make it in time for Deals Gap. Just seeing what's going on in the Denver area till then, wouldn't mind meeting up to meet some of you guys.

I saw the deal for cmzc, and will keep an eye out for the next meet.

 

Finally my FD is on its way from Iowa to be here in the Springs in a couple days. Cost me an arm and a leg to ship but its worth it right? .....right? .......right?

I only paid $650 to ship one from IL last month. Got here in 2 days too.

 

I paid the same...still more than I should have paid- or more than I can afford I should say. It took a week and a,half though as they couldnt get a driver to pick it up. The company was taking too much for their fee and no driver would take the cut.

Still, costly.
