Your a little late! It's already snowing....It will probably be next Spring until we meet again. Now it's time to figure out who needs to bring a Rotary tuner in for 2009?
A needless death: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...25#post8782825
Yeah I do! My sister from Oahu is coming to visit. And we're gonna be going snowboarding right after christmas! So I'm excited about that! I also hope it snows alot too! Cause my seven is my DD, so I put some studded tires on, and went sliding around when it snowed last weekend and had so much fun! I can't wait to do it again! We prob hit up at least 10 parking lots, along with goin through gold camp. Great times!
New here
Hey guys, I just got out of a 4 year military term and now I'm back home. I brought with me a 93 RX7 and was looking for other rotarheads in the Denver area. I need someone to help me bring her back to life. I bought it with a blown motor but I have no clue how to work on it. I don't wanna mess anything up so if anyone out there can lend me a hand, please let me know
I moved to Colorado Springs about 3 years ago from Fruita. My parents still live in Fruita. I daily drove my car over there since 2001. I used to cruse North back in high school and college at Mesa.
Ya GJ isn't a bad place. When you come back in town send me a PM or something. Maybe i can take a look at your FB and FC.
Mike, I PM'd you on this yesterday but I thought I'd make others aware too. I absolutely NEED to have a tune done as soon as I get my car back together and break in the new engine. I will probably have a tuner come up here regardless of how many people we get in on the deal, but obviously the more the better. Is anyone interested?

I would be willing to work on a dyno day in the spring if people are interested.
It just seems silly to bring in someone when we have a good shop in town with a dyno already.

MAC knows nothing about tuning rotarys, I've already asked. They probably don't know about Power FCs either. There are no good local tuners for FDs that I'm aware of, or I would absolutely support them.
I hate to break it to you, but tuning a high HP rotary and any other high hp car is not a whole lot different. And power FC's aren't exactly written in greek.
Sorry if you took offense, I shouldn't have worded my previous post that way. I'm not going for high HP. My car will make maybe 325HP to the wheels after a tune. I just want it to be reliable and daily drivable. The only reason I even need a tune is because I brought the car up from sea level, plus I'm putting a ported motor in. Anyway, everyone I know, including some people sponsored by MAC, say they would not take an FD there for a tune. I even asked someone who works at MAC (I won't say who) if they did much tuning on RX-7s, and he said no, they almost never have any RX-7s come in. He asked me what generation I had, I told him 3rd gen, and he suggested I find someone who has more experience tuning them. Granted I don't know much about tuning, but I'd rather trust someone who does know about our cars, than someone who has little to no experience with them, regardless of how good at tuning they are. The guys at MAC are very competent and I'm sure they could figure it out, but I'd rather not have my car be the guinea pig. Plus, Nick at MAC also has a reputation for tuning pig rich, or so I've heard.
