Hey after cruising FoCo last night with Laural, monkhommey, subiedude03 and Laural's Boyfriend in his flat black 280Z and getting ran out of FoCo by Fort Collins Finest... I realized we need to "secure" a spot where we are alowed to be with the store owners permission. So the coppers can't write us tickets for tresspassing or give us 2 mins before they write us Loitering tickets.

Then I remembered about last year the Cruise nights the "Papa Wheelie" put on in the Orchards Shopping Center. It got so big so fast the Loveland Cops shut it down.

BUT NOW

Papa Wheelie is back at it again this year and has secured shops, stores, returants and all sorts of places for the cruise nights/meets to happen. He also is working with the Loveland Cops so it'll be LEGAL!!!

The Meets start first Friday in April. I'd love to see Colorado's RX-7's and other Rotary's show up! I'll be there for sure.

And Laural maybe i can get you and your boyfriend (and anyone else) to run a canyon with me after the meet?

i sometimes cruise around ft collins on fridays or saturdays not very often though. I think i've seen ya around. But you will probably see me before i see you.

Offical update!

It's being called the cruiz' in loveland and the first date will be Friday April 18th and Gene is expecting around 500+ cars to show up every friday night from all over the state and Wyoming

There's still a good bit of sand on the roads in rist canyon. I don't know what 34 is like though.

 

I figure there will be. I'm guessing not everyones been up some of the roads. So, i wasn't planning on hauling *** up there. More of a scenic drive for now.

I may not have my Seven there due to the fact it's in the shop but I'll have my MR2 project there... And following the cruise i'll be down for a drive if anyone is up for it... heck I'll be going for a drive either way.
