have a tourism question about Montana

I apologize if this in in the wrong forums, but I figure someone could help me out. I am planning the family vacation and I would like to find a kid friendly dinosaur place as a destination. I am hoping to find something that is not a disneyland type crap but with an emphisis on science geared toward younger children. My kids are 6 and 2. Multiple destinations are fine but we need to be able to dig. I would never here the end of it from my kid if he didn't dig. Any other points of interest would be welcomed also. I would like to stay in the western part of Montana. Thanks for the ideas

Nah, this would be the right forum. It is the Mountain forum, and Montana is certainly included in the Rocky Mountains.

I fear that there are not many Montanans here, nevertheless.

I'd help ya if I knew, but the only Montana I've been to is Yellowstone, and some rockface off of some highway that I climbed with some buddies and a rope and some rock nuts.

If you are going thru Bozeman stop in at the Musium of The Rockies ...its just south of the MSU campus. They usualy have a bunch of Dino stuff over there.

thought this had died. I have googled and such but I think the locals have a much better grip of an area than a search engine.

I was reading the news paper the other day (i live in great falls MT) and there was thing about some dinousaur museum in Bynum, which is a few miles north of choteau. You might be able to find something on the net about it, but im not too sure.
