Friday nights (Westminster) we meet at Sonic at 96th and Federal. Better get there early (6pm) as this place is packed every Friday night with a couple hundered cars.

Saturday nights in the Springs people meet at Grocery Warehouse (GW) on Powers and Constitution. They usually meet up once it's dark....maybe as late as 10pm.

Sunday night (Littleton) we meet at Sonics at C-470 and Ken Caryl at 8pm - 11pm

If you guys go Fridays to the sonic on 96th and Feds, be nice to the ones that have Unique Import stickers on the windshield. They are my friends and I'm one of the leaders of that club, we have some pretty fast ones too! My car isn't running 100% yet but hopefully see you guys there in a few weeks.

 

Is that Orange Eclipse apart of your club....I think he wants to race me!

It's broken now but should be up in a couple of weeks! It is really fast, but it should be since he put more money into the engine than his whole house is worth! Actually, he is the founder of the club, I met him when I moved up to Firestone from Thornton. Pretty cool group of guys (the ones I know).

 

Set up a race! May 17th at Bandimeres test and tune.....His boys came over saying something about me not wanting to race him. And whats up with having 3 SAFC's in the dash?

I will let him know. I don't know if his car will be running but I will let him know. I wish I was there when you were because the next day, all the club members told me about your car. That's all they talked about for a week! They really liked it. For the three SAFC's, I don't know why? I personally don't like it but it is his car. I don't like a lot of interior clutter. I have taken mine down there numerous times but only seen Raymond there. (The asian with the green rx7). Like I said, my car should be running soon so hopefully I will see you there some time. I pm'd you a couple weeks ago about my mods. Also hope to see you May 17th! Sorry if any of the club members gave you ****, I guess they will find out the hard way ; )

 

Mike after BDC, I got to get a side bet on that. You will take any ecilpse, i don't even need to see it to know that. Oh and you will look better passing through the gate. we need to throw some rotary power around don't you agree? Marc I know your listening, what do you think about that? Nyteryder I bet your a cool guy and remember we are rotorheads for life, those other cars are just wishing they could be driving our pure sports cars, I don't care how much horsies they can put in them. Don't you think?

Man, I don't know....I'm not sure if I will have the fuel system done before BDC comes out now....I got to get Ryan motivated somehow! Eitherway...even tuning it with what I have should make a big difference.


I had my eye on a Camero last night with 250 shot of nos and MT Street ET's.....That should be fun!

I will always be a rotorhead no matter what. But don't rule other cars out! I love my 7 but I don't hate on others because I have the better car though (except mustangs, can't stand those damn things) ; ) I love all cars in general. and don't rule out the eclipse. I think it would be a good race between Mike and him. Everytime he's ready to run it or take it to the dyno, it always breaks on him so the exact power he is making I'm not sure. He is having the motor professionally built this time so it should stay strong. After I get all I need done, I should be pushing close to 350whp, and we also have a GTI in the club that is going to have 475whp real soon. There is a lot of potential out there! If you want to race him sonicx let me know and I will set something up with him!

 

I am not equiped to race at that level. Mike is however, NHRA and stuff. I don't hate on other cars (except the Mustang, LOL expecially the new ones. Don't get me started) Honestly I am super picky, the way the bodies look of these other cars really don't do anything for me. Plus what is with that huge bump on the hood of the Eclipse. The other thing that gets me is anyone can drive a Eclipse, I own a tanning salon here in Fort Collins and 50% of the girls that come in are driving an Eclipse. Just not the image I want, ya know! Everyone knows what it means to own this rare beauty of a car. I guess the AutoZone F&F crowd is starting to get at me. I am sure the cars in the club are nice, I have friends that all run other types. So no disrespect, its just that I have faith in what Mike's car can do. **** plus they could just race for fun, this ain't pinks, right?

No, it's not for pinks or money. It's just a fun run. If they want to run for money or pinks then they have to discuss that themselves. I never said that the Eclipse will win, I said don't rule him out though. It would be a good race, my heart tells me that Mike will when, but it would be a good run all in all. I will absolutely get it on camera. I would pay 30 bucks just to see this race and leave : )

 

Who ever runs for pinks is full of ****...Has anyone known anybody to lose a car that way? I may race for $100 or so but not worth risking any more than that.

 

It seems like we got a little off topic. Yes, Friday at Sonic 96th and Feds. Good time, meet cool people, see nice cars. And one thing Colorado struggles with (especially for entertainment) it's free! Mike I will pm you when it gets closer to the 17th. Anybody who wants to know if the race is on pm me or Mike about two weeks before.

 

no I was not implying that anyone do that, just that it doesn't have to be a serious race, they can just do it for fun. I too would like to see that, can't wait til my cars up, I am there and at the get togethers. I had a lot of fun the one time I made it. See you guys there soon.

 

If that Eclipse is 500hp.....I better kill him out of the hole!
