FD from F&F Tokyo Drift spotted in Colorado?
I was up at Mac Autosports last Saturday for the Mazda dyno challenge and they had some pictures up of the Orange / Black FD with the Fortune Kit from Tokyo Drift. Someone took a picture of it in Aurora! It seems to me that I would have seen or heard about this car by now and was wondering if anyone else has ever seen it here in Colorado?
I have verified there is a Black Right hand drive FD here in Colorado which is pretty cool! Anyone seen this car yet? I know the guy who got it here to Colorado but have not seen the car in person yet....I was hoping he will bring it out to a car meet before the end of the year!
Any other FD's spotted? They are getting very hard to find lately! Seems like I'm one of the few out at the meets, car shows, or races.

Hey mike I know this is a little off topic but, I am looking at buying an FD and I know you are like a financial planner and I was just wondering what you would recommend looking for while trying to get a loan?
Also that would be sick if the FD from F&F was here. My friends didnt believe me when i told them it was an FD from a 2 second clip i saw of it but i was right

SJ....sorry I don't do car loans.....just home loans....I would check with your local bank. I would even try to get on at a credit union. Belco would be a good start.
They made a bunch of these cars for the movie......I guess this one in Colorado is stock under the hood.

I think there were 4 originals.
Last time I checked, One was at Universal Studios for the premier (I saw it there in the theatre) and then they moved it to their backlot for the tram tour.
I don't know if any of the other ones survived the movie shooting.
There are probably 12 or so kits here in USA, so it's possible somebody painted one like it, or maybe Universal has their car touring around...
I don't really know.
Was it a japanese car or a US car?

I didn't get to see the real car....just a picture and couldn't tell if RHD. Someone else was telling me they made like 15 of these cars and this one was stock under the hood.
i would take a bat to it. i hate that the color orange and that stupid kit. its so big it probably wouldnt break anything important underneath so cmon.
i took out a regular auto loan to help pay for mine in 04. it was pretty tough even back then because of the age, only one bank would do it. soopers credit union? by now you might be out of luck for that.
anyway i didnt even make it 10 minutes into that movie i couldnt stand how stupid it was. and ive been known to watch the ****** disney channel if im bored enough. so didnt get to see the car

there were IIRC 5 FD's built for the movie, the Hero car was a the REAL Veilside Fortune FD had a few goodies but nothing fancy, just enough to make it drift a few corners with those 20x10, 11, or 12" wheels.
the other 4 were "shot" cars (whatever they call em in the biz), where they replicated the car in varying detail, the body kit was also replicated, and they all had bare and basic single T04's. of course only 1 was trashed.
there was a buildup of the same FD here after the release of the movie.
search for "iforged" hes a member and one of his threads was all about the buildup of the car

There are a few people on here who are buidling up/already built up Fortune RX7s.
The original Fortune RX7 from Tokyo Auto Salon because they original car for the movie. They repainted it to the orange and black.

+1 haha
what size wheels and offsets are going on under there?
fiy you can buy the kit. they arent all from the movie because they have it. but IMO you have to be high or just incredibly rich and stupid to buy one. its like 8-10k somewhere isnt it?
it does look a lot better with other colors for what its worth. the gray and yellow ones, and this red or whatever ive seen on here arent TOO bad.

comments, very mature and school like. Hope you graduate soon and be like other
mature folks on here that respect wether they like modified or stock 7's.
We good now?
Peace
Your missing my point. You just randomly post into a tread that had not been posted in for in almost a month to simply brag about your car. **** like that pisses me off. WTF?

<--- like that.
It does look good though.
