Denver Mechanics

I own an 87 Rx7 GXL (non-T), and I am having coolant leaks and start-up/flooding problems. can anyone rocommend to me to a good rotary mechanic or a general mechanic in the denver area (even better the Aurora area, 80014)? I have to make a 1300 mile drive back to Seattle in 9 days so any help would be a God-send.

Thanks,

YellowMazda

County Line Imports (formerly known as the Mazda-Honda Shop) is the only place i'll take my rotary. Its at roughly C-470 & Quebec. If you want more detailed directions PM me.

Wouldn't recommend Rotary Specialist......I would take it to Mike at Precision Import Repair (My car is there right now) 4444 S. Federal 303-797-6510

Matt just picked his car from there and posted this on the Yahoo group....

Just took the FD to Mike at Import Specialists today to have a few small issues looked at. I have to say I could not have been more impressed. He really seems to know the FD (and I'm sure FB and FC as well) and be capable of everything from a motor rebuild to tracking down rattles.

I was expecting my bill to be in the neighborhood of $200-250. I got back and it was $55!!!

Great to know there is someone there for some of the stuff I just don't wanna do myself.

There was a M. Blue FD there when I dropped mine off and John with the black FD is dropping his off on Tues....I don't think anybody is doing as much Rotary stuff in Colorado.

Jim is a good guy but haven't taken my car to him so not sure how he compares to Mike....They probably are both good.

Was he building it at his house? If so, thats a damn pretty engine. I think he said he put some massive ports in there, so i'll be interested to see how it runs.
