there are quite a few RX-7 in Colorado. total of RX-7, about 20 FDs, a lot of FCs, and a few first gens. I know we will have a spring meet next year. There is one FD owner in Ft. Collins. see link below for RX-7 locations

My buddy with a FC and me with a FB (about to buy a SA) and my Neighbor with a FB are in Lovleand.

In about two weeks we're going for a canyon run if you'd care to join us.

I daily drive a red 2nd Gen MR2 Turbo.

If you need any tech advice go call up Chuck at MazTech up in FoCo... He's the guy who's selling me the SA and been adjusting the carb on my FB.

What do you drive?

Oha nd there are 2 or 3 FDs in Loveland/Fort Collins. A red one with a rebuilt engine and a SWEET one with a carbon fiber hood and MASSIVE hp.

There are 2 FDs (atleast) in Greely... theres a white one with and LS1 Swap in it.

touche. but rotaries are way more simplistic anyway and the fact that they only move in one direction decreases the possibility of **** going wrong where as piston engines have a million parts most of which are moving back and forth violently just asking to **** up. hah. that was weak but i'm half asleep so bite me.

Not quite yet. Soon enough i will though. And don't get all butt hurt it's not like i'm making fun of you personally. Not to mention if it does blow up it's not like rotaries are hard to find. Most morons leave them and do a piston engine swap because they're too feeble-minded to understand how a rotary engine works... ;]

haha! i picked up a free s5 turbo motor because of one of those piston engine swaps! it was in great shape just had a few apex seals carbon locked. it worked out for me and the other guy too.. i got a free motor.. and he got some of that... whats it called... ol yea torque!

and thats part of their charm! another great thing is when some idiot runs a piston motor out of oil... you have to listen to the wretched valve train thrash itself against everything.. where as if that same idiot had an rx7.. the 7 would put itself out of its own misery

It's cool to see this many NoCo guys on the board. I rarely see another Rx-7 up here.

Yup, that's just south of Harmony. It's an 82 S, but there isn't much left of the original car.

It's in storage now (as soon as the sand goes down, the Rx gets shelved) but in the spring we should have a NoCo gathering.
